The SureStrike™ laser cartridge is loaded into the chamber and secured in place. By squeezing the trigger, the impact of the firing pin activates the SureStrike™ to emit an eye-safe laser pulse. The IR cartridge takes the original Surestrike and adds an extra layer of difficulty by using IR instead of a standard visible laser. This can immensely improve the training value of dry fire sessions, forcing the shooter to trust their sight, picture, and trigger control without a visible laser indicator.
